Layla Doctor

Layla Doctor is a seasoned Project Manager with over 20 years of experience delivering impactful solutions across the nonprofit, public sector, health & human services, forensic science, and human capital industries. Specializing in ERP and CRM systems, Layla's deep expertise spans all phases of project delivery, from discovery to deployment, with a focus on advancing organizational efficiency and innovation. She sees her job as a way of giving back to the society - delivering meaningful work that advances innovation to help people help other people, one project at a time. Her commitment extends beyond project completion, as she also fosters lasting relationships and continuous improvement in consulting and solutions delivery. Layla graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and earned her graduate degree in Business administration with emphasis in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, part of DeVry University. Aside from maintaining her PMP certification, she also holds multiple Microsoft certifications. Outside of work, Layla enjoys traveling and has explored destinations across the world, with a special fondness for Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley, and recently, Spain, where she completed her first Camino walk. Married to her husband Mario since 2008, Layla balances her love for adventure with family life, supporting her two daughters, Maggie and Malin, in their activities. A foodie at heart, she relishes discovering new restaurants in the Chicago area and cherishes time with friends over wine and cheese.
